        D. 7   PUBLIC COMMENT (2 Minutes/Speaker)
  No name given, states he is pleased that the rate of vaccination among children under 12 in California is low;

Daniel Kelly, would like to see Kirker Pass Road renamed because the namesake is known to be guilty of violent crimes against the Apache tribe. He recently published an editiorial on the matter in the San Francisco Chronicle. He recommends contacting local Native American groups for name suggestions. He further notes there are very few signs and houses on the road;

Chair Mitchoff said that she and Supervisor Glover have read the op-ed and have already directed the Public Works Department to begin the process to ascertain what is needed to change the name of the road.

Laura Powell contends the Board's misinformation policy is a violation of 1st Amendment free speech rights. She also requests that Supervisor Gioia not refer to himself as an attorney.
Supervisor Gioia clarified that he stopped paying Bar Association dues, so he does not have a bar license.

Lauren, resident of Lafayette, expressed concern with the Board's decorum. She said the public asks questions and the Supervisors decide who to engage with. Because there is not always back and forth commentary, some people feel dismissed. She further stated that she wants to hear medical information only from Dr. Tzvieli.
