Recommend a position of "Support" to the Board of Supervisors on AB 38 (Wood): Fire Safety: Low Cost Retrofits: Wildfire Mitigation, and direct staff to send the bill to the Board of Supervisors for action on their September 17, 2019 consent calendar. |

The Committee recommended the bill, AB 38, be sent to the Board of Supervisors for support on its next Consent calendar. |

PROVIDE input and direction to staff related to the procurement process for a state legislative advocacy services contract to be effective January 1, 2020. |
|
|
|
Vice Chair Mitchoff was interested in extending the contract term for state advocacy services with Nielsen Merksamer. Chair Burgis wanted to have further conversation with the advocates and further consideration of the matter. The Committee directed staff to return this item to its October meeting. |
