4. | ACCEPT the Contra Costa County Reentry System Strategic Plan, 2018–2023 and RECOMMEND its adoption by the Board of Supervisors. | ||||||||||
Approved as presented with the following direction to staff: 1. Forward the Reentry Strategic Plan to the full Board of Supervisors for consideration and approval. 2. Ensure that the following considerations are taken into account during the establishment of the Reentry Council: a. A formal process for county departments and community stakeholders to bring resources to the table and share information;
b. The Council should meet at least quarterly; c. Develop an outline for implementation of the Strategic Plan and bring back to the Committee for review; d. Determine how the AB109 Community Advisory Board will have a role in advising the Reentry Council; e. Determine how the immigration advocacy community will have a role in advising the Reentry Council. |
