3. APPROVE Record of Action from the July 27, 2020 meeting.   
 
  Approved as presented.

4. 1. CONSIDER interviewing applicants for the two seats on the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council reserved for Community-Based Organizations Representatives, and
 
2. RECOMMEND two candidates for the vacant seats identified above to the Board of Supervisors for appointment consideration.
  
 
  The Committee considered the applicants and selected Julius Van Hook and Denise Mills to be recommended to the Board of Supervisors for appointment to the Community-Based Organization Representative seats on the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council.

5. REVIEW and APPROVE a proposed recruitment process to fill seven community-based organization/public member seats on the 2021-22 Racial Justice Oversight Body.   
 
  The committee approved a 3-week recruitment timeline with staff being directed to return at the October 26, 2020 Public Protection Committee meeting for applicant consideration.
