1. Introductions
 
2. Public comment on any item under the jurisdiction of the Committee and not on this agenda (speakers may be limited to three minutes).
 
3.   RECEIVE and APPROVE the Record of Action for the September 12, 2022 meeting of the Legislation Committee, with any necessary corrections.
 
4.   ACCEPT the report on State Budget and Legislation of Interest to the County, and provide direction to staff and the County's state advocates as needed.
 
5.   RECEIVE reports on the November 8, 2022 general election and provide input to staff and advocates, as needed.
 
6.   REVIEW the Draft 2023-24 State Legislative Platform, provide direction to staff, and recommend the adoption of a Proposed 2023-24 State Legislative Platform by the Board of Supervisors.
 
7.   REVIEW the Draft 2023-24 Federal Legislative Platform, provide direction to staff, and recommend the adoption of a Proposed 2023-24 Federal Legislative Platform by the Board of Supervisors.
 
8. The next meeting is currently scheduled for December 12, 2022.
