4. | RECEIVE update and PROVIDE DIRECTION on the hiring process for the Co-Directors of the Office of Racial Equity and Social Justice. | |||||
5. | ACCEPT the report on the equity efforts of the Office of the Public Defender and provide input/direction as needed. | |||||
6. | RECEIVE update and PROVIDE DIRECTION to staff on the establishment of the Ad Hoc African American Holistic Wellness Hub Feasbility Study Steering Committee as needed. | |||||
7. | CONSIDER accepting reports from the W. Haywood Burns Institute and the Office of Reentry and Justice on the progress and activities of the County's Racial Justice Oversight Body (RJOB) in 2022 and recent 2023 activities, RECEIVE the RJOB's "Public Statement on Racial Disparities in Local Policing," and PROVIDE DIRECTION to staff as needed, as recommended by the Office of Reentry and Justice. | |||||
