On July 30, 2019 the Board of Supervisors allocated $500,000 to supplement State grand funds, the additional funding would be used in the following areas: $350,000 for Grant Funding, $125,000 for Technology Access, and $25,000 for Homeless Outreach.
The Finance Subcommittee will review Phase I RFP grant submissions and make recommendations for grant awards to the 2020 Census Steering Committee.

The County received 58 grant application for the first phase of the Census Outreach and Assistance grants. The total grant of all grant requests is $1,074,206.
