RECOMMENDATION(S):
ADOPT Resolution No. 2021/283 approving and authorizing the District Attorney, or designee, to submit an application and execute a grant award agreement, including any extensions or amendments thereof, pursuant to State guidelines, with the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services & Public Safety Branch, in an amount not to exceed $154,500, for funding of the Human Trafficking Advocacy Program for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The District Attorney will receive up to $154,500 to fund human trafficking advocacy efforts. This funding requires a 20% match, which will be met with in-kind services.
