RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Ashley Ganem, DECLARE a vacancy in the At-Large Alternate seat #1 on the Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board for a term ending June 30, 2024, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The mission of the Contra Costa County Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board is to assess family and community needs regarding treatment and prevention of alcohol and drug abuse problems. The Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board works in collaboration with the Alcohol and Other Drugs Services of Contra Costa Health Services. They provide input and recommendations as they pertain to alcohol and other drugs prevention, intervention, and treatment services. Ashley Ganem has served on the Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board At-Large Alternate #1 Seat, and has submitted her letter of resignation.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved the vacancy will not be posted and will remain unfilled.
