RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Agent to execute, on behalf of the Sheriff-Coroner, a purchase order amendment with Producers Dairy Products Inc., to increase the payment limit by $200,000 to a new payment limit of $550,000 for the purchase of dairy products as needed for the West County (WCDF), Martinez (MDF) and Marsh Creek (MCDF) detention facilities through the effective period of November 30, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

$200,000. 100% County General Fund; Budgeted.  

BACKGROUND:

The vendor is a Public Works Department-selected vendor providing the dairy products and other related products needed by WCDF, MDF and MCDF to support the feeding program requirements of the inmate population.
