RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2021/267 approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close all of Rolph Avenue, on September 26, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m., for the purpose of 13th Annual Sugartown Festival, Crockett area. (District V)  

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Crockett Chamber of Commerce is seeking a road closure for the 13th Annual Sugartown Festival in honor of Crockett's founding by C&H Sugar. The event will include live music, seating, and dancing space. Applicant shall follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.  
  


CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
