3.   APPROVE the Record of Action for the July 22, 2019 meeting of the Legislation Committee, with any necessary corrections.

4.   ACCEPT the report on state legislation of interest to the County and provide direction to staff.

5.   CONSIDER recommending to the Board of Supervisors a position of "Support" on AB 38 (Wood):  Fire Safety:  Low Cost Retrofits: Wildfire Mitigation, a bill that requires the Natural Resources Agency to review the regional capacity of each county that contains a very high fire hazard severity zone to improve forest health, fire resilience, and safety and requires a seller of real property located in a high or very high fire hazard severity zone to provide specified documentation to the buyer that the real property is in compliance with specified wildfire protection measures, as recommended by the Contra Costa Fire Protection District Chief.
 
6.   PROVIDE direction to staff on the procurement process for a state legislative advocacy services contract effective January 1, 2020.
