RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #74-463-6 with Bi-Bett Corporation, a non-profit corporation, in an amount not to exceed $177,025, to provide transitional housing services for homeless adult males who have recently completed substance use treatment, including referrals from State's Assembly Bill (AB) 109 program, for the period from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This Contract is funded 100% State AB 109. (Rate increase)
BACKGROUND:
This Contract meets the social needs of County’s population by providing specialized transitional housing services for homeless adult males referred from State’s AB 109 Program and from substance use disorder treatment programs. Contractor’s program is designed to help residents maintain sobriety and other gains achieved in treatment while they participate in employment and self-sufficiency services designed to support their transition to permanent housing and productive community engagement.
