RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Director of Airports, or designee, to execute Amendment 1 to the Consulting Services Agreement with C & S Engineers, Inc. to add Padilla & Associates, Inc. as an additional Subconsultant.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

C & S Engineers, Inc. (Contractor) would like to have Padilla & Associates, Inc. added to their Consulting Services Agreement as one of their sub-contractors to perform a requested Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program update for the County Airports.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If not approved, Contractor will not be able to use Padilla & Associates, Inc. to perform the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program update, the County Airports would not be in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements and could potentially lose grant funding.
