Government Code Section 53646 requires the County Treasurer to prepare quarterly reports to the Board of Supervisors describing County investments including type, par value, cost, and market value. Attached please find the report covering the period April 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018. As of June 30, 2018, the par value, cost, and market value of Contra Costa County Investment Pool were $3,749,705,470.41, $3,738,973,278.79, and $3,734,989,357.63, respectively. The weighted yield to maturity was 1.97% and the weighted average days to maturity were 167 days. As of June 30, 2018, The Treasurer’s investment portfolio was in compliance with Government Code 53600 et. seq. and with the Treasurer’s current investment policy. Historical activities combined with future cash flow projections indicate that the County has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations for the next six months.
