RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amended Conflict of Interest Code for the Office of the District Attorney, including the list of designated positions.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Office of the District Attorney has amended its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised code, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code section 87306 and 87306.5.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)
The changes include an updated list of positions designated to file conflict of interest statements and removal of references to the Public Administrator throughout the Code. These changes will ensure that the Conflict of Interest Code accurately reflects the current positions and organizational structure in use by the Office of the District Attorney. A strike-out version of the list of designated positions for the Conflict of Interest Code is attached as Exhibit B.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

None.
