Referral History:

The Ad Hoc Committee on Sustainability has asked the Sustainabilty Commission to provide a report on its deliberations at each Committee meeting.

Referral Update:

The Sustainabilty Commission on August 18 held a retreat to discuss how it can better meet its mission of advising the Board of Supervisors and staff on implementation of the Climate Action Plan, realizing equity and fairness across the diverse communities of Contra Costa County in sustainability programs, and better engaging County residents and businesses on sustainabilty issues. A summary of the Retreat outcomes is attached.
