Referral History:

On December 6, 2011 the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2011/497 adopting policy governing appointments to boards, committees, and commissions that are advisory to the Board of Supervisors. Included in this resolution was the requirement that applications for at large/countywide seats be reviewed by a Board of Supervisors sub-committee.

Referral Update:

The Contra Costa Commission for Women has submitted the attached requests for appointments to seats on the Commission. The Commission reviewed the applications and interviewed the candidates and recommends the appointments.

Recommendation(s)/Next Step(s):

RECOMMEND to the Board of Supervisors the following appointments to the Contra Costa Commission for Women:

Beth Mora, resident of Danville, to the At-Large Seat 11 with a term expiring February 28, 2018, and
Lanita Mims, resident of Oakley, to the At-Large Seat 10 with a term expiring February 28, 2018.
