RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE amended Conflict of Interest Code for the Contra Costa County Counsel, including the list of designated positions and disclosure categories.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Contra Costa County Counsel has amended its Conflict of Interest Code and submitted the revised code, attached as Exhibit A, to the Board for approval pursuant to Government Code section 87306 and 87306.5.

The list of designated positions and disclosure categories have been revised to include new positions and updated disclosure requirements. These changes are shown on the attached ‘red-line’ version. (See Exhibit B)
