RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2022/269 approving and authorizing the Public Works Director, or designee, to fully close all of Camelia Lane, on August 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m., for the purpose of a neighborhood block party, Walnut Creek area. (District II)

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

The Parkmead Community Association is requesting that Camelia Lane be closed on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m., for the purpose of an annual neighborhood block party. The event shall be conducted in accordance with all CCC Health Services guidelines. Applicant shall also follow guidelines set forth by the Public Works Department.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Applicant will be unable to close the road for planned activities.
