RECOMMENDATION(S):

DENY claims filed by Allstate Insurance, a subrogee of P. Delfinsanchez, Edward Burkhalter, Farmers Insurance, a subrogee of Amanda-Gomes Hutcheson-Fling, Gary Fiske, Nicki K. Osibin, Chris A. Piganelli, and Arif Ullah.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

Allstate Insurance as subrogee of P. Delfinsanchez: Property claim for damage to vehicle in the amount of $1,195.95.
Edward Burkhalter: Personal injury claim for trip and fall in the amount in excess of $25,000.

Farmer Insurance as subrogee of Amanda-Gomes Hutcheson-Fling: Property claim for damage in the amount of $14,288.27.
Gary Fiske: Property claim for missing personal property in the amount of $2,000.
Nicki K. Osibin: Personal injury claim for broken tooth in the amount of $300.
Chris A. Piganelli: Property claim for damage to vehicle in the amount of $500.
Arif Ullah: Personal injury claim for injuries sustained from vehicle accident in the amount of $5,000,000.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Not acting on the claims could extend the claimants’ time limits to file actions against the County.
