RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director or designee, to accept on behalf of the County Grant Award #28-932 from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), to pay the County an amount not to exceed $100,000 for COVID-19 prevention and infection control in high-risk facilities, for the period from August 28, 2020 through July 31, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Acceptance of this Grant Award will result in an amount not to exceed $100,000 from NACCHO for COVID-19 prevention services. (County match not required)

BACKGROUND:

Approval of the Grant Award #28-932 will allow County to accept the funds from NACCHO for COVID-19 infection prevention and control practices in high-risk facilities and increase coordination among community partners to bolster response efforts, through July 31, 2021.
