RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE Appropriation Adjustment No. 5103 to transfer appropriations in the amount of $3,931,000 between various Sheriff Budget Units to reflect anticipated FY 2018/2019 expenditures.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Zero Net County Cost.

BACKGROUND:

The mission of the Sheriff is to provide the most efficient and effective law enforcement services possible. The department shall provide administrative, investigative, technical, forensic, coroner, emergency, detention, and court security services.

At the end of every fiscal year, the Sheriff’s Office is required to process an appropriation adjustment that will transfer appropriations between budget units to reflect anticipated annual expenditures.
