RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE clarification of Board action of September 13, 2016 (Item C.135), which authorized the Purchasing Agent to execute a purchase order with Bay Cities Produce Company, Inc. for the purchase of fruits and vegetables for the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, to reflect the correct term end date of October 31, 2018, rather than June 30, 2018, with no change in the payment limit of $280,000. (100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I)
FISCAL IMPACT:
100% funding is included in the Hospital Enterprise Fund I budget.
BACKGROUND:
On September 13, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved the purchase order with Bay Cities Produce Company, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $280,000 for the purchase of fresh and processed fruits and vegetables for the CCRMC patients and staff.
