(Represented)

BACKGROUND:

The Quality Management Program Coordinator position will lead the improvement efforts for CCHP's operations by completing performance improvement projects, those that are required by the State and those that Contra Costa Health Plan's leadership has identified and prioritized. To ensure CCHP meets the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation, this position will perform studies and prepare reports on: coordination of medical care among different settings, coordination between medical and behavioral health care, member satisfaction, and access to services.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this action is not approved, Contra Cost Health Plan will be deficient in not having the appropriate classification to fulfill and perform the quality improvement needs.
