RECOMMENDATION(S): 1. APPROVE response to Civil Grand Jury Report No. 1706, "Funding the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District", and      2. DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to forward the response to the Superior Court immediately following Board action. FISCAL IMPACT: No fiscal impact. This is an informational report. BACKGROUND:
