RECOMMENDATION(S):

ADOPT Resolution No. 2017/289 accepting as complete the contracted work performed by Granite Rock Company for the Buchanan Airport Taxiway Echo & Kilo Improvements Project, as recommended by the Public Works Director, Concord area. County Project No. 4855-4653-SAS-6X5322, Federal Project No. AIP 3-06-0050-021 (District IV)

FISCAL IMPACT:

Project was funded by 90% Federal Aviation Administration Funds, 2.25% Caltrans Funds, 7.75% Airport Enterprise Funds.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Director reports that said work has been inspected and complies with the approved plans, special provisions and standard specifications and recommends its acceptance as complete as of July 31, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The contractor will not be paid and acceptance notification will not be recorded.
