3.   CONSIDER recommending to the Board of Supervisors the appointment of Rita Xavier to Member at Large Seat No. 9 and Jennifer Doran to Member at Large Seat #10 on the Advisory Council on Aging as recommended by the Employment and Human Services Department.

4.   CONSIDER accepting the report from the Employment and Human Services Department regarding the challenges the department faces in fiscal year 2014/15 and forward it to the Board of Supervisors for informational purposes.(Kathy Gallagher, EHSD Director)

5.   CONSIDER accepting an update from the Local Planning Council regarding the Countywide Child Care Plan and forward the report to the Board of Supervisors for their information. (Ruth Fernandez, LPC)

6.   CONSIDER approving the staff recommendation to reallocate $7,277.11 in unspent FY 2013/14 CDBG funds to Shelter, Inc., increasing its FY 2014/15 allocation from $26,675 to $33,952.11, to provide homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing services to 10 additional households and forwarding the Committee's recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.  (Brenda Kain, CDBG Project Manager)
