RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a Master Services Agreement containing mutual indemnification with Corelogic Solutions, LLC, a limited liability company, in an amount not to exceed $2,100.00 to provide access to RealQuest software system for property information services during the period from August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023. (Project No.: 4510-910SAS)

FISCAL IMPACT:

The contract will result in contractual service expenditures of up to $2,100 for a 12-month period and will be funded by various Road, Flood Control, and Special Districts funds.

BACKGROUND:

The Public Works Real Estate Division is in need of a property research service that provides historical and current details about properties county and statewide, in connection with composing appraisals and conducting research related to county infrastructure. The execution of the Master Service Agreement will allow the Real Estate Division to obtain these services.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

The Agreement for these services contains an indemnification provision, whereby County agrees to indemnify the Contractor against claims made by any third party against the Contractor.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Without Board approval, the Public Works Real Estate Division will not have access to additional property information services provided by Corelogic Solutions, LLC.
