DENY claims filed by Kerry Rooney, Rodric Petrece Stanley Jr., and Edwin Yahn. DENY amended claims filed by Ali Badr and Vincent Lloyd Thomas.

FISCAL IMPACT:

BACKGROUND:

Kerry Rooney: Property claim for damage to vehicle in the amount of $4,586.36
Rodric Petrece Stanley Jr.: Personal injury claim for slip and fall in jail in the amount of $200,000.

Edwin Yahn: Property claim for damage to boat in an amount to be determined.
Ali Badr: Amended personal injury claim for use of excessive force in an undisclosed amount.
Vincent Lloyd Thomas: Amended Personal injury claim by bicyclist for dangerous condition in the amount $5,000,000.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Not acting on the claims could extend the claimants’ time limits to file actions against the County.
