RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPOINT Patanisha Davis Pierson from the At-Large 1 seat to the District 3 seat on the Family and Children's Trust Committee to a term expiring September 30, 2022, and DECLARE the At-Large 1 seat VACANT previously held by Patanisha Davis Pierson due to reassignment and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by Supervisor Diane Burgis.

BACKGROUND:

Patanisha Davis Pierson currently serves as a member in the At-Large 1 seat on the Family and Children's Trust Committee. She made a request of the committee to shift from her current FACT At-Large seat to the District 3 seat. The FACT Committee reviewed this request at their April 5, 2021 meeting and voted/approved to move this recommendation to Supervisor Burgis for approval.

The District 3 seat has been vacant since January 5, 2021 and the Supervisor reviewed the request and is making the recommendation to appoint Patanisha Davis Pierson to the District 3 seat.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The District 3 seat would remain vacant.
