RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Michelle Chenault, DECLARE a vacancy in the District V Public Sector seat on the Economic Opportunity Council and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Economic Opportunity Council makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on all program proposals and budgets related to Community Services Block Grant and the Weatherization program, and performs other functions as specified in the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The seat would remain vacant.
