ACCEPT the resignation of Bruce Hahn, DECLARE a vacancy in the District 4 Alternate Seat on the Assessment Appeals Board, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy.

BACKGROUND:

The Assessment Appeals Board is established to assess and equalize the valuation of the taxable property in the County for the purpose of taxation; and to perform all duties required by the State Board of Equalization and State law.

Mr. Hahn has been successfully serving on the Assessment Appeals Board and now wishes to resign because he moved out of the County.

  
CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The seat will be remain occupied.
