RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County Contract #23-455-17 with Atos Digital Health Solutions, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $570,000, to provide consulting and technical support for the Health Services Department’s Information System Unit for the period from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Hospital Enterprise Fund I. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

On October 8, 2019, the Board of Supervisors approved Contract #23-455-16 with Atos Digital Health Solutions, Inc., to provide consulting and technical support to the Health Services Department’s Information Systems Unit for the Laboratory and Materials Management System for Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) and Contra Costa Health Centers, for the period from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Approval of Contract #23-455-17 will allow the Contractor to continue to provide consulting and technical support, through June 30, 2021.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, Contractor will not be able to provide support services for the Department’s Information Systems unit.
