RECOMMENDATION(S):
APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Auditor-Controller, to pay an amount not to exceed $98,285 to Apollo Managed Care, Inc. for additional user licenses for a web application for medical review criteria and guidelines for the Health Services Department, for the period April 20, 2018 through April 17, 2019.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This request will result in additional expenditures of $98,285 to paid to the vendor for user licenses, and will be fully funded by revenues in Hospital Enterprise Fund I.
BACKGROUND:
In April 2018, the County Administrator approved and the Purchasing Services Manager executed Contract #23-627 (as amended by Amendment Agreement #23-627-2) for a web application for medical review criteria and guidelines for the Health Services Department for the period March 1, 2018 through April 17, 2019. Due to an oversight by the Department, the contract was not amended to increase the payment limit prior to the contract expiring. Additional user licenses were requested by County and provided by the Contractor in good faith.
