RECOMMENDATION(S):

REAPPOINT Petural Shelton to the District 3 seat on the Arts and Cultural Commission of Contra Costa County to a term expiring June 30, 2023, as recommended by Supervisor Diane Burgis.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Board of Supervisors established the Arts and Cultural Commission in December 1994 to advise the Board in matters and issues relevant to arts and culture and to promote arts and culture as a vital element in the quality of life for all of the citizens of the County.

The current members term expired June 30, 2019. Applications were accepted and the recommendation to reappoint the above individual was then determined.
