RECOMMENDATION(S):

RESCIND Traffic Resolution No. 4091, adopted on November 2, 2004, which prohibited parking except for vehicles of individuals with disabilities, on a portion of the east side of Rodeo Avenue (Road No. 1795AP), as recommended by the Public Works Director, Rodeo area.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No fiscal impact.

BACKGROUND:

It was determined that a parking space previously designated for disabled persons only, is no longer needed at this location. Public Works Transportation Engineering staff conducted a site visit confirming the Rodeo Veteran’s Hall building is no longer at the requested location. Therefore, Public Works Transportation Engineering recommends removing the restricted parking based on established policy.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

Parking will remain restricted at this location.
