RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of County Contract #24-681-95 with Razel and Ruztin, LLC, a Limited Liability Company, in an amount not to exceed $271,276, to provide augmented residential board and care services, including room, board, care and supervision, for the period from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

This Contract meets the social needs of the County's population by augmenting room and board and providing twenty-four hour emergency residential care and supervision to eligible mentally disordered clients, who are specifically referred by the Mental Health Program Staff and who are served by County Mental Health Services.

Under Contract #24-681-95, the Contractor will provide augmented residential board and care services through June 30, 2020.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County residents will not receive vital mental health services.
