RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE clarification of Board action of June 26, 2018 (C.122), which authorized the Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, to execute a contract with YMCA of the East Bay to provide Attachment, Self Regulation, and Competency Project services, to reflect the correct contract payment limit of $115,000 with no change in the term of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by State Child Abuse Prevention, Intervertion and Treatment (CAPIT) funding.

BACKGROUND:

The Board Order of June 26, 2018 (Item C.122) approved and authorized Employment and Human Services Director, or designee, on behalf of the Family and Children's Trust Committee, to execute a contract containing modified indemnification language with the YMCA of the Eat Bay in an amount not to exceed $80,000 to provide Attachment, Self Regulation and Competency Project services for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

Due to a clerical error, the contract payment limit was incorrectly stated. The purpose of this Board Order is to reflect the correct contract payment limit of $115,000.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The Board will not take action to clarify the correct contract payment limit as agreed upon by the department and the contractor.
