RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of the County, Contract #23-636 with HealthX, Inc., a corporation, in an amount not to exceed $199,500, including changes to the County Standard indemnification clause, for provider directory software and support services for the Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) on-line provider directory, for the period July 24, 2018 through July 23, 2021.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by CCHP Enterprise Fund II.

BACKGROUND:

Under this Contract #23-636, the contractor will provide software and support services to assist the CCHP in providing healthcare information to their providers and members. HealthX, Inc. will implement and deliver a public version of the on-line search engine (provider directory), through July 23, 2021. This contract includes modified indemnification language.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, CCHP members will not be able to access the provider directory on-line.
