RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Health Services Director, or designee, to execute on behalf of County, Contract #24-681-95 with Razel and Ruztin, LLC, a Limited Liability Company, in an amount not to exceed $271,276 to provide augmented residential board and care services, including room, board, care and supervision, for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.

FISCAL IMPACT:

This contract is funded 100% by Mental Health Realignment funds. (No rate increase)

BACKGROUND:

This contract meets the social needs of the County's population by augmenting room and board and providing twenty-four hour emergency residential care and supervision to eligible mentally disordered clients, who are served by County Mental Health Services and specifically referred by the Mental Health Program staff.

Under Contract #24-681-95, the contractor will provide augmented residential board and care services through June 30, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, County residents will not receive services provided by this contractor.
