ACCEPT the draft response to Civil Grand Jury Report No. 1703, entitled "Mental Health Services for At-Risk Children in Contra Costa County" and DIRECT staff to forward the response to the Board of Supervisors for approval at their August 8, 2017 meeting.

Accepted the report and directed staff to revise certain grand jury responses before forwarding to the Board of Supervisors on the consent calendar of their August 15th meeting. The Committee directed the Department to add additional data on psychiatrist ratios and how they are distributed throughout the County. Additionally, the Committee requested that the Department return to F&HS with updates on statements submitted in the report requiring follow up. The Committee accepted public comment. Speakers: Lauren Rettagliata, Duane Chapman, Douglas Dunn, Ralph Hoffman, Barbara Serwin, and Cesar Saldana. |
