RECOMMENDATION(S):

INTRODUCE Ordinance Code 2017-19 amending the County Ordinance Code to exclude from the Merit System the classification of Economic Development Manager-Exempt, WAIVE READING and Fix August 1, 2017, for adoption.

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact with this action.

BACKGROUND:

This action excludes from the Merit System the classification of Economic Development Manager-Exempt created in related item D.4 on this agenda.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this item is not approved, the County will not have the required classification to lead the County-wide Economic Development Strategic Plan and Programs.
