BACKGROUND: (CONT'D)

On June 7, 2016, the Board of Supervisors approved Novation Contract #28-530-23 with the City of San Ramon, for the period from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, which included a three-month automatic extension through September 30, 2017, for the provision of home-delivered and congregate meal services for County’s Senior Nutrition Program.

Approval of Contract #28-530-24 replaces the automatic extension under the prior Contract and allows the Agency to continue providing services through June 30, 2018. This contract includes modifications to County’s standard indemnification clause and the General Conditions.
