RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #76-589 with Michelle Tsou, M.D., an individual, in an amount not to exceed $190,000, for the provision of podiatry services at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center and Contra Costa Health Centers (CCRMC), for the period from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Contract is funded 100% Hospital Enterprise Fund I.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #76-589, Contractor will provide podiatry services including, but not limited to: clinic coverage, consultation, training, and medical and/or surgical procedures, at CCRMC, for the period from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, patients requiring podiatry services at CCRMC will not have access to Contractor’s services.
