RECOMMENDATION(S):

Approve and authorize the Health Services Director, or his designee, to execute, on behalf of the County, Contract #77-094 with Sharon de Edwards, M.D., FACOG, an individual, in an amount not to exceed $200,000, to provide obstetrics and gynecology services for Contra Costa Health Plan (CCHP) members, for the period from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019

FISCAL IMPACT:

This Contract is funded 100% Contra Costa Health Plan Enterprise Fund II.

BACKGROUND:

Under Contract #77-094, the Contractor will provide obstetrics and gynecology services for CCHP members, for the period from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If this contract is not approved, Contra Costa Health Plan members will not receive the benefits of obstetrics and gynecology services from the Contractor.
