RECOMMENDATION(S):

ACCEPT the resignation of Jelani Killings, DECLARE a vacancy in the Private / Non-Profit Seat Sector 4 on the Economic Opportunity Council, and DIRECT the Clerk of the Board to post the vacancy, as recommended by the Employment & Human Services Director.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None

BACKGROUND:

A vacancy was created in the Private/Non-Profit Sector 4 when Jelani Killings, re-appointed to the seat on July 7, 2015 (c.42), submitted his resignation effective June 8, 2017.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If not approved, the Economic Opportunity will not be able to fill the vacancy.
