Referral History:
On November 6, 2001 the Board of Supervisors referred to the Family and Human Services Committee the review of the plans and preparations for the bi-annual East Bay Stand Down for Homeless Veterans.
Referral Update:
The 2016 East Bay Stand Down will be held September 15-18, 2016 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. The attached report and flyer from the Veterans Service Office contains additional information.
Recommendation(s)/Next Step(s):
ACCEPT the report in support of the East Bay Stand Down and forward it to the Board of Supervisors for informational purposes.
