Accept the Canvass of Votes for the June 28, 2016 Special Election showing that the measure for Police Services in County Service Area P-6, Zone 212, Supervisorial Dist. 5 - Bay Point area passed as follows;

BACKGROUND:

The attached Certificate of the County Clerk provides the results of the June 28, 2016 Special Election for County Service Area p-6, Zone 212, Subdivision 9352, wherein each landowner of the affected area was allowed one vote for each acre or portion thereof on Resolution No. 2016/321 so as to authorize a special tax on said property located in Zone 212, of the County Service Area P-6 to maintain the present level of police protection service and provide additional funding for increased police protection services.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

If the Board does not accept the Canvass of Votes, Zone 212 will not be formed.
