RECOMMENDATION(S):

APPOINT Norman Cohen to the District 3 seat on the Countywide Bicycle Advisory Committee to a term expiring December 31, 2024, as recommended by Supervisor Diane Burgis.

FISCAL IMPACT:

None.

BACKGROUND:

The Committee provides input to the County and the cities of the County on bicycle projects for the Transportation Development Act (TDA) funds to construct bicycle/pedestrian projects and also provide advice to cities and the County on bicycle planning matters.

The term for this seat expired on December 31, 2020. Applications were accepted and the recommendation to appoint the above individual was then determined.

CONSEQUENCE OF NEGATIVE ACTION:

The District 3 seat would remain vacant.
